A shot of a beer glass on it's side on the slate floor.

twilight glass
This was a photo from the first roll I took with my new Nikon FM2 manual camera. With a f1.4 50mm lens on long-term loan to me by my good friend, we went out in the evening taking photos of the riverside. I was using a Fuji 400 colour roll, and he was using a Kodak 400 colour roll. We were doing our own little experiment on how our printing machine in the shop interprets Fuji and Kodak film differently. So we went around taking photos of roughly the same things. I actually prefer his version of this glass photo, mostly his composition and framing, but I also like my version, mostly because the blurred background is so funky... *grin* If you were wondering we actually took the glass from beside the road (it was upright and against a pillar) and placed it on the floor ourselves.
