sunrise During one of our photography camps, the teachers shipped us off to a nearby offshore island Pulau Ubin in the wee hours of the morning to catch the sunrise. In Singapore, it's quite hard to even see the sunrise unless you go to the hilly areas or to the correct beach, so it was quite an experience for me to actually see the sunrise... Although now that I think about it, the time my photography friend and I went at 5 a.m. to the beach to take the sunrise was a lot more interesting, because I actually got to see the huge expense of sky turn gradually from pitch black to a faint blue. Even though I think these types of sunrise shots are overdone, they are the only sunrise shots I've ever done, and it makes for a nice series of shots.
