I don't want to be a hero I don't want to protect the weak I don't want to kill the evil I just want to go back to sleep
I don't want supporting actors I don't want a haunted past I don't want multiple lovers I just want to run away fast
Chorus: I don't want to be your hero (no no no) I don't want to act cool, look cool, fight cool, feel cool Don't you understand? I don't like heroes. I'm just an ordinary antihero...
I don't want to be a nice guy I don't want to help other people I don't want to heave and sigh I WANT to be weak and feeble
I don't want slash fanfiction I don't want legions of fangirls I don't want a freakin weapon I don't even want to rhyme... this sentence
Chorus
For once in my life, I really would like, To get rid of this camera on my tail, go alone on the road, And just live my life whichever way I like, Without villains visiting me every BLOODY EPISODE!
*music stops* *shuffle* *cough*
Chorus (repeat and fade till end)
"Hero ja nai. Urusai."

Imagine a very harassed Kenshin singing this. *twiddles thumbs* I was just very amused about all these fandom ways of showing love for their hero, and how the hero might actually just want to get away from it all and live a normal life... (I know just such a person... wants to run away and become rurouni... *winks*) and possibly the hero's adverse reaction to some of the stranger fanservice... like slash fics and cosplayers and fan clubs... One of my first rhyming lyrics. I'm not very good with rhymes, and I really admire professional lyricists who can rhyme... like Rob Thomas, the singer, lyricist, and composer for Matchbox Twenty. That is power, man...
