As mentioned, this was a poem wholly inspired by a piece of music. If you've heard the particular piece of music, you would understand why the poem is as it is. Beyond that, there's nothing particularly striking in the poem, besides the fact that all it has are descriptions of an image that was formed when I heard the piece of music, a very whimsical scene. I like the poem though, because I feel it's rather pretty in a way.
