hell, life's too short to have a decent conversation
watched myself from afar but i didn't have time to watch the passing cars like my life passing me by slipping away...

One of the experimental poems I wrote in early 2002, this was one of my dry-commenting poems on life in general, especially the life I felt everyone around me was experiencing at that point of time. It's really about how a lot of people let this busy nature of life take over them, and they start making excuses for not actually living their lives. I like this poem, partially because of the three different techniques I used, the single-word repetition in the beginning, the conversation in the middle, and my usual wandering philosophical rambling at the back. And how they all link up to become quite smooth.
