too busy to give this a title
Busy, busy, busy
rush, rush, RUSH

life's too short to be lived this way
oh really?
yup, indefinitely.
okay...i gotta go, love this conversation.
yah, me too.

hell, life's too short to have a
decent
conversation

watched myself from afar
but i didn't have time
to watch the passing cars
like my life passing me by
slipping away...

chiiyo's comments :
One of the experimental poems I wrote in early 2002, this was one of my dry-commenting poems on life in general, especially the life I felt everyone around me was experiencing at that point of time. It's really about how a lot of people let this busy nature of life take over them, and they start making excuses for not actually living their lives. I like this poem, partially because of the three different techniques I used, the single-word repetition in the beginning, the conversation in the middle, and my usual wandering philosophical rambling at the back. And how they all link up to become quite smooth.
