site
I don't know how many people actually read the pages that describe the website itself, but I always do. It always makes the whole web-surfing experience more complete, like a rounding-up of points, or the ending of a story. I always try and read about how the site came to be, developed, especially in sites that I feel are very good. I guess that's why almost everyone has one of these "site" sections...

about ricepaper
The thing about making the about-the-website page in the format of a profile is that it helps me focus on what I really want to say about the website, and sometimes I come up with interesting never-been-thought-of anecdotes to write down... This was a novel idea that turned into a good idea in the end...
For a more factual, not to mention not as frivolous, and a heck-lot more chronological (and logical) history of this website (and believe me, it gets quite convoluted after a while), here's a long rambling digging-up-old-memories version with screencaps of what the old designs used to look like...

giving thanks
Although the main chunk of the site is based on my original work, due credits must be given when due. I gave this one page on its own because I truly have a lot of people to thank for this site... And of course, if you use any of my original work, please ask me first and then give due credit too. Thank you...
Reviews is a little web phenomena that I caught on rather late. For a hoot, I tried it out, and I was hooked. It wasn't purely for my entertainment too, the responses, the feedback, the criticisms, they actually helped a lot in shaping Ricepaper, and in shaping my own impressions and ideas of proper webdesigning.

saying goodbye
The hosh-posh and mish-mash of link buttons out, link buttons in, and various recommendations of where to go for a certain reason, where to go if you've liked my site, and just where to go to get out, called the page of links. I don't go around surfing very often, but I do have my own cozy lists of websites I adore...
Finally, if it is really goodbye you want to say to ricepaper, perhaps you would want to sign my guestbook (pop-up) and tell me exactly what you thought of this little corner of the web of mine. Any suggestions, criticisms, questions, comments, praise, scoldings are welcome. Just no spamming. Thank you!
