I never used to colour-coordinate the sections of a site before. I was very much influenced by another webdesigner friend who ran a very successful Harry Potter fansite and loved to colour-coordinate her site. Strangely enough, just when this layout, my first colour-coordinated site, came online, she went and redesigned, making her site one that wasn't colour-coordinated. Ironic, no? Other than that, I really liked this layout. I think, if F2s.com didn't shut down it's free service, I might have continued with this design. As said before, it really grows on one. It was also a site I didn't have to choose between which colour I wanted to use this time, because I could pretty much use all the colours I wanted on different pages. This was also one of my last size-variable designs, where the table width changes with the size of the window. Later on I would switch to fixed-width tables, but the width would always be smaller than the width of a 640x480 resolution browser, just to be sure.
