[ Too-white ]:
Too-white? My love for this layout fell considerably after reviewer after reviewer complained about how plain and star-white it was. Initially the inspiration for such a colour scheme was from a Tarepanda picture: the spring series, where they had Tarepandas posing with cherry blossoms. Hence the white, black and pink. Compatibility wise I had no idea that it looked slightly different on a Mac, and was quite perturbed when I first saw it on my new computer. Now I test extensively on both platforms, and am slightly glad that my coding in the past has been pretty sound, in that with other sites, the font is huge on a Mac Internet Explorer, but my sites look pretty much the same...
